PEERAPAT TECHNOLOGY PUBLIC COMPANY LIMITED organized the “Reducing Plastic at the Source Starts with Us” initiative on 14 October 2026 to enhance environmental awareness and encourage employees to adopt more sustainable practices. The initiative focused on reducing single-use plastics and promoting behavioral changes to minimize waste generation at the source.

The event featured an educational exhibition on microplastics, covering their definition, sources, and presence in the environment and everyday life. Interactive quizzes were also organized to encourage employee engagement and reinforce environmental knowledge. In addition, awareness signage was installed near the factory entrance to promote the Company's commitment to reducing plastic consumption and encourage continuous participation.

Activity Outcomes

Based on behavioral data collected during the event, 66.7% of participants brought and used their own reusable drinking cups. This result demonstrates employee participation in efforts to reduce reliance on single-use plastic containers and provides baseline information for monitoring and encouraging environmentally responsible behavior in future activities.

Ongoing Commitment to Plastic Waste Reduction

The Company plans to conduct monthly environmental awareness and plastic reduction activities to encourage employees to incorporate waste prevention practices into their daily routines.
